A very intense storm system passing through Florida has drowned out racing for Friday, March 7th, at Ocala Speedway. The storm brought heavy rain to the area on Thursday, then severe weather on Friday, forcing an early cancellation. Racing will resume on Friday, March 14th, on “Market of Marion Night” with the return of the Late Models, Mini Stocks, and Gladiators. The V8 Thunder Stocks which had been scheduled for their debut on the 7th, will have their inaugural race on the 14th. And the Hobby Stocks will be added to the program on the 14th to make up for their lost race. An announcement will be forthcoming as to when the Open Wheel Modified race will be made up.
