ZUBER,FL- Despite a valiant effort by the track crew from Ocala Speedway, conditions have prompted speedway owner Michael Peters to call off racing for this Friday, May 29th. The clay has absorbed too much moisture and is refusing to cooperate with the crews as they attempt to create a workable racing surface, so Peters has decided to try again another day. According to Peters, were the track to have another day of drying time it may be alright, but it cannot be ready in the few hours remaining before racing is scheduled tonight.

Ocala Speedway will be racing again on Friday, June 5th, as the 14th Annual Powell Memorial and the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series arrives in beautiful downtown Zuber!
