Ocala Speedway Cancels Due To Wet Conditions

by BJ Cavin

ZUBER, FL- Those who live in Marion county and the surrounding area know that rain has been a constant problem for the entire week. Daily heavy rains have saturated the clay at Ocala Speedway to the point that the track crew is unable to get the surface into any sort of acceptable racing condition, so speedway owner Mike Peters has decided to cancel racing for tonight, Friday, July 10th. Racing will resume at Ocala Speedway on Friday, July 17th, with the Open Wheel Modifieds, Amsoil V8 Thunder Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Mini Stocks, and Gladiators.
