ZUBER, FL- Sometimes timing is everything. With cool weather forecast to be on the way, Floridians know that means a front is approaching and that a front means rain. And while we all are looking forward to fall temperatures over the weekend, the arrival of the front on a Friday means a rainy day for race day at Ocala Speedway.

Due to moisture that the area received yesterday and overnight last night, plus the predicted approach of more heavy rain this afternoon and evening, Ocala Speedway has canceled racing for tonight, Friday October 16th. The clay is simply too wet, and any more rain will only make matters worse. A look at the Florida radar image at 2:30PM was the final straw that caused the rainout to be declared, as more rain was quickly approaching.
